The Pure Photonics tunable laser is a conveniently standardized laser module with a LVTTL serial interface and specific power-supply requirements. This is ideal for integration into your end-product.
For laboratory testing it is often more convenient to have a secondary board supply the voltage sources and to translate the output from your PC (typically a high-voltage RS-232 signal or a USB signal) into the required protocol.
